The Consumer Technology Association said Sept. 7 that Chile will host a Global Pavilion at CES 2027 for the first time, with the show running Jan. 6–9 in Las Vegas.
The move positions Chile's section as the largest South American Global Pavilion ever at CES, according to CTA. The announcement includes no exhibitor count or floor-space figure.
CTA announced the plan at an event in Santiago where officials signed a memorandum of understanding on innovation ties between the U.S. and Chile and on expanding opportunities for Chilean startups and technology companies at CES, the association said. The release names Kinsey Fabrizio of CTA, Chilean science minister Ximena Lincolao, energy minister Ximena Rincón and CORFO general manager Jocelyn Olivari as participants.
CTA said Chile's delegation would include companies in robotics, cutting-edge technology and emerging industries. The release does not identify any exhibitors, products or demonstration plans. The move builds on earlier CTA-Chile contacts this year, including a visit by CTA Executive Chair Gary Shapiro to Chile, according to the release.
CES 2027 is scheduled for Jan. 6–9, 2027 in Las Vegas.
