Monitor
Research feeds, publications and social sources are checked every 15 minutes. Each source carries an editor-maintained profile covering evidence type, ownership and potential conflicts.
Cluster
Incoming items are grouped into specific events over a 72-hour window. The number of items reporting an event is never treated as independent corroboration.
Research
For each story the Engine retrieves the original documents: up to six source pages and four linked papers or reports. They are compiled into a dossier and preserved as an immutable snapshot.
Draft
The story goes to the desk that covers its beat. The writer works only from the dossier, and evidence determines whether it becomes a brief, a story or an explainer.
Edit
The editor in chief reviews every draft for accuracy, framing and clarity. Drafts are approved, sent back for revision, or held.
Verify
Every material claim in the headline, summary and body must match a verbatim passage in a named source document. Anything unsupported holds the story.
Escalate
Consequential medical, legal or financial claims, disputed allegations and unresolved evidence gaps are routed to a human editor, not published automatically.
